The Aditya Birla Group Awards is an annual large-scale event celebrating the standout employees from this multinational conglomerate headquartered in Worli, Mumbai, India. The 2018 ABG Awards Ceremony was a visual spectacular with live speeches from the company’s executives in conjunction with several outstanding performances by some of India’s top dancers, singers, musicians and artists. The 2018 ceremony took place at the Novotel Hyderabad Convention Centre in India.

ACTLD had the incredible opportunity to do the lighting design for the 2018 awards, working with Creative and Show Director, Nikos Lagousakos and Event Producers, FOUNTAINHEAD MKTG.

This was the fifth lighting design project for ACTLD in India. While working in different countries can sometimes bring unexpected challenges – such as language barriers, different lighting equipment and safety standards – ACTLD has excelled in adapting to new environments with each new project.
