Lucía do Souto started her studies in Cinematography at the New York Film Academy in 2008. After that, she studied Media & Communication and earned a Master’s Degree in Cinematography at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC). Determined to acquire strong expertise in lighting, she freelanced on several audiovisual projects and received a Master’s Degree in Architectural Lighting Design from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) in 2015. She has always been passionate about exploring innovative technologies and new narratives to create meaningful experiences for audiences worldwide. As a designer, she blends different creative and technical disciplines with visual design and digital arts to bring immersive and interactive projects to life. After working in a well-known lighting and museography design studio in Madrid, she joined ACTLD, thereby fulfilling her wishes of working in a more international environment in a company that has different needs from traditional design studios.
